If you are like me somebody who walks a lot, may I also recommend walking from the city center, to Port Melbourne along the water to St Kilda Pier and back to the city center via Albert Park? A good length flat and easy walk of 20km. Stop at Acland Street in St Kilda for coffee and cake along the way.
